Catching Up...

Wow, I haven't posted in a while, life has been crazy busy.
So let's play a little game of catch-up, shall we?

My sweet family went to Park City for fall break and Bry and I were lucky enough to tag along for part of the weekend.
We did all of our favorite things:

-Ate at Bandit's Bar & Grill
-Watched football
-Played hilarious games
-Went outlet shopping {of course...}
-Had dance parties
-Watched intensely choreographed dance recitals from the little girls

Basically, we just had the best time-- it was such a great, fast getaway.

The tri-tip at Bandit's is incredible.

The whole Park City gang:
So many wonderful people sitting at one table.

Main Street.

Us with Megan, my beautiful, sweet cousin and her wonderful husband, Shane.
Megan and I were born a few weeks apart and we got married within a month of each other.
Bry and I are so blessed to be related to some of our best friends.
I'm such a lucky girl. I love him so much.

After Park City, we jumped right into midterms {YUCK} and Halloween.
Midterms continued until the beginning of this week, but we made it through!
And we interrupted our studies to dress up and go to our favorite Halloween party.

Charlie & Maverick from Top Gun.
When I was really little, I loved dressing up for Halloween.
As I got older, my interest kind of faded, but getting married has renewed my love for dressing up!
Everything is just better with Bryan.
Between more studying and job searching {for life in California}, we have been able to try new restaurants and dessert bars with wonderful friends.

You should go to The Choc'Late Mousse in Downtown Provo. I loved it. Also, I just laughed out loud because I just legitimately called South Provo, Downtown Provo. Ha. We live in such a big city.
This was so perfect after I had just finished an intense accounting study session right before this. Blech.

And finally, last night-- Bryan and I were able to go to the Provo Temple with my family, and my adorable sister, Courtney. The temple is such a wonderful place, and I loved being able to share my love for the temple with Court. {It was her first time... she leaves for her mission in like 70 days!}

The temple is something we {as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints} prepare for from the time we are young. The temple is the pinnacle of worship for a Mormon, because we believe that temples are literally the House of God. Being prepared to go to the temple is the culmination of making many, many small {sometimes large} right choices. And there is something extra powerful about being in the temple with your family. In the temple, we make covenants with our Heavenly Father and receive wonderful, eternal blessings. These blessings include the ability to be with our families forever. I am so grateful for Courtney-- and the good decisions she has made in her life, and I am so thankful for my family and the ability we have to be together forever.

Provo Temple.
 If you made it all the way to the end of this post-- kudos! I love having you here and I love being able to share these little windows into my life with you.
